The spa is managed by Pejo Terme Natura Srl, a limited liability company fully owned by the Municipality of Peio. The company was established on January 1, 2007, and is responsible for managing the thermal establishment.

The first historical records of the Pejo Spa date back to the 1600s when Archduke Ferdinand Charles of Austria praised in a writing the numerous beneficial properties of these waters. The first spa in Pejo was built in the early 20th century, quickly becoming a sought-after destination for patients from northern Italy, Austria, and Germany. The current facility was renovated in the 1990s to keep up with the increasing valley tourism.

Over the years, the Pejo Spa has expanded its offerings to include traditional thermal treatments and wellness services, while maintaining a strong connection to local tradition and culture.

The Pejo Spa is renowned for the therapeutic properties of its mineral waters, which flow from three main sources: the Alpine Spring, the Ancient Spring, and the New Spring. The Alpine Spring is considered oligomineral, with a neutral pH and low mineral salt concentration. The Ancient Spring, with a temperature of 7°C, is classified as mineral acidic, bicarbonate iron-rich, which is easily absorbed by the body. The New Spring, with a temperature of 6.5°C, is classified as medium-mineral carbonated.

These waters are used for hydroponic treatments, inhalation therapies, and balneotherapy, indicated for respiratory, circulatory, dermatological, rheumatic, and gastrointestinal diseases. Additionally, the water from the New Spring is effective in treating vascular diseases and stimulating blood circulation.

The Pejo Spa offers a wide range of thermal treatments and wellness services. Among the primary thermal treatments available are: hydroponic therapies, inhalation therapies, fangobalneotherapy, balneotherapy, phlebological pathways, rehabilitation, and specialist visits. These treatments are indicated for various ailments and disorders such as respiratory, circulatory, dermatological, rheumatic, and gastrointestinal issues.

For wellness and relaxation, the establishment has a wellness area occupying an entire floor that includes: Finnish sauna, biosauna, Roman bath, steam bath, hydromassages, cervical cascade, Kneipp pathway, ice cascade, emotional showers, and Scottish showers. Additionally, massages, aesthetic treatments, and an exclusive cosmetic line, Fonte Alpina and Antica Fonte, which utilizes thermal water and natural products from the area to promote skin elasticity and radiance, are also available.
