Therme Bad Schallerbach

The EurothermenResort Bad Schallerbach is a wellness resort located in Upper Austria, renowned for its diverse range of wellness and relaxation services. The facility includes several thematic areas such as Cabrio-Therme Tropicana, the sauna village AusZeit, and the family water park Aquapulco. Additionally, the Paradiso hotel offers comfortable accommodations for guests.

The Cabrio-Therme Tropicana features a spacious retractable roof allowing guests to enjoy outdoor thermal experiences on sunny days. Inside, guests can use thermal pools with different features including a thermal lagoon with water at 35°C, hydro massage loungers, bubble seats, and underwater massagers. There are also three therapeutic pools: one with sulfur water, one with saline water, and one with iodine-selenium water, all designed to provide specific health benefits.

The AusZeit sauna village offers over 40 relaxation attractions, including various themed saunas, steam baths, and relaxation areas. Among the saunas available are the crystal rock sauna at 80°C, the hunter’s sauna at 90°C, and the herbal sauna at 55°C. Guests can also relax in cozy environments such as the Heustadl, the Ofenstüberl, and the Zirbenstubn, which provide welcoming atmospheres for rest.

The Aquapulco water park is ideal for families, with five different water slides, a water play garden, and a wave pool. It also features pirate shows with music, water, lights, and fire, along with play and climbing areas for younger children.

The EurothermenResort Bad Schallerbach has a long tradition in the spa sector. The sulfur thermal spring, located 460 meters below the surface, has been used for therapeutic and recreational purposes since 1918. Over the years, the facility has undergone various expansions and renovations to offer increasingly modern and diverse services.

In 1995, following extensive renovations, the thermal area was reopened with new attractions, including the Aquapulco water park and the Paradiso hotel. These developments have helped solidify the reputation of the facility as one of the leading wellness destinations in Austria.

In 2009, the park of the Paradiso hotel hosted Botanica, the Lower Austria gardening fair, attracting over 360,000 visitors and demonstrating the commitment of the facility to providing unique experiences for its guests.

The thermal waters of Bad Schallerbach are renowned for their therapeutic properties, particularly for treating musculoskeletal disorders. The sulfur water, with a temperature of 37°C, is known for its ability to relieve rheumatic pain and joint problems.

The Physikarium offers a variety of massages and wellness treatments, including Ayurvedic massages, Lomi Lomi Nui, Shiatsu, massages with aromatic oils, Hamam massages, hot stone massages, and African Vunkuwa massages. Each treatment is designed to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

For couples, rituals such as 'Time Together' are available, which includes a heat cabin, an aromatic oil massage, and tea in the winter garden, as well as the Hamam ritual in the Serail bath, offering a purifying and relaxing experience.
