The Lurisia Thermal Baths are a First-Class Hydropathic Institute, accredited by the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service. They offer extraordinary thermal waters in an unspoiled environment, with therapeutic treatments and wellness for health. The Garbarino and Santa Barbara springs are used for inhalation therapies, mud packs, and drinks, preventing and curing respiratory, digestive, and joint disorders. The Baths are open from April 25 for the wellness department and from May 5 for the thermal treatment department.

In 1940, thanks to the determination of Pietro Cignolini, David Garbarino, and Piero Sciaccaluga, the first Thermal Establishment of Lurisia was born. The aim was to make the medicinal use of thermal waters accessible to everyone, applying scientific methods to amplify their benefits. Lurisia became a hydrothermal research center and a holiday destination for prominent figures of the time, such as President of the Republic Gronchi and architect Giò Ponti. Subsequently, by decree of the Ministry of Health, the bottling and sale of the Santa Barbara thermal water was permitted, bringing its health qualities to a broader audience.

The Lurisia Thermal Baths use two main thermal springs: Garbarino and Santa Barbara. The Garbarino thermal water is classified as oligomineral, with a fixed residue of 116 mg/liter. Due to its physicochemical composition, it has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and sedative actions, with a radioemitting component. It is indicated for inhalation treatments and mud packs, effective in respiratory diseases, osteoarthritis, and dermatological disorders such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. The Santa Barbara thermal water, with a fixed residue of 36 mg/liter, is classified as minimally mineralized. It is used for hydrotherapy, with diuretic and purifying effects, indicated in the treatment of urinary stones, prevention of recurring cystitis, and as post-operative support after lithotripsy.

The Lurisia Thermal Baths offer a wide range of therapeutic and wellness treatments. Among the main ones: - **Mud Therapy**: The treatment involves the application of warm mud over the entire body, followed by a therapeutic bath in thermal water and a sweating reaction phase. It uses wooden 'cradles' to optimize heat release. It is indicated for rheumatic diseases and respiratory system disorders. - **Water Cave**: A wellness path of about 3 hours that includes a cave with thermal vapors, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, thermal whirlpool, Kneipp path, and relaxation room. A thermal aperitif can be added during the path. - **Massages and Aesthetic Treatments**: They offer holistic massages, lymphatic drainage, hot stone therapy, foot reflexology, as well as facial and body treatments such as facial cleansing, anti-age treatments, thermal mud packs, donkey milk scrubs, and treatments for light legs. - **Saunas and Turkish Bath**: The Finnish sauna and infrared sauna offer benefits such as increased skin elasticity, improved blood circulation, and elimination of toxins. The Turkish bath, designed in a natural cave, promotes tissue remineralization and has draining effects, useful in treating aesthetic issues such as cellulite.
