The ticket for these treatments is set at €55.00, while those exempt from payments due to income or health issues only need to pay a fixed fee per prescription of €3.10. An ancient legend tells of Cinzio and Corinzia, two young shepherds from the Valle del Belice, who, wearing white ceremonial dresses, descended the gentle slope covered in wild broom to reach the sacred spring.

In 1922, Dr. Pietro Giuffrida, a respected and appreciated doctor in the area, purchased the rustic land known as 'Catalani - Hot Waters', also known as 'Hot Waters of S. Pietro', within the former Dasies feudal estate. The subsoil of the land was known for the presence of potential 'sulfur deposits' and for the spring better known as 'sulfur dioxide emissions.'
