General Information

Aquardens is the largest thermal park in Italy, located in Santa Lucia di Pescantina, just minutes from Verona and Lake Garda. With an area of 140,000 square meters, it offers 14 pools with microbiologically pure thermal waters, rich in minerals that stimulate the immune system and have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and draining properties. Each year, the park welcomes about 500,000 visitors, providing a complete wellness experience.

The facility includes various thematic areas, such as the Sauna Village, an exclusive area with three large saunas, a Turkish bath, and an outdoor pool with water at 34°C. It also offers five wellness paths: Soft, Tonic, Detox, Beauty, and Sauna, each designed to meet specific relaxation and toning needs.

Aquardens also provides a variety of services, including restaurants, bars, and a wellness center of 1,500 square meters, Aquadivina Beauty & Private Suites, with beauty cabins and a Medical SPA with specialized doctors available for guests. In addition, it organizes weekly events such as Cinema in water, yoga, music therapy, happy hours with live music, and DJ sets, to combine wellness with fun.

History

Aquardens was inaugurated in 2012, transforming agricultural land into a state-of-the-art thermal park. In 2022, it celebrated its tenth anniversary with the ambition of becoming the largest thermal park in the world. To achieve this goal, it has planned significant investments, including the construction of a pavilion dedicated to families, a pavilion for couples, and an on-site hotel.

In December 2022, Aquardens acquired the company Goethe Energy, owner of two hydroelectric plants in the areas of Canda and Bussari, in the province of Rovigo. This investment allowed the thermal park to become energy self-sufficient, using renewable energy produced internally.

In June 2023, Aquardens signed a ten-year PPA agreement with the Dolomiti Energia Group for the supply of electricity produced from renewable sources. This agreement ensures the traceability of the renewable energy supply chain, from production to consumption, and helps reduce CO2 emissions, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.

Treatments and Therapies

Aquardens offers a wide range of treatments and therapies for the well-being of its guests. These include relaxing massages, aesthetic treatments, and personalized wellness paths. The wellness center Aquadivina Beauty & Private Suites features beauty cabins and a Medical SPA with specialized doctors available to guests, providing high-quality services to meet various wellness needs.

The proposed wellness paths include Soft, for rest and relaxation; Tonic, for muscle toning; Detox, for detoxification; Beauty, for revitalizing the tissues; and Sauna, for strengthening the immune system and purifying the body. Each path is designed to provide specific benefits and improve overall well-being.

Additionally, Aquardens organizes weekly events such as Cinema in water, yoga, music therapy, happy hours with live music, and DJ sets, to combine wellness with fun. These events offer a unique experience, allowing guests to relax and enjoy themselves at the same time, making every visit to the thermal park a special experience.

Therapeutic Information about the Waters

The thermal waters of Aquardens are salty-bromo-iodine, microbiologically pure, and rich in minerals such as sodium chloride, bromine, iodine, calcium, magnesium, and iron. These characteristics give the water anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and draining properties, stimulating the immune system and promoting overall well-being.

Aquardens' thermal water is particularly suitable for treating chronic conditions of the upper respiratory tract and for managing catarrhal diseases in both adults and children. The proposed thermal treatments can enhance or complement pharmacological therapy, providing a natural support to the healing process.

To optimize the therapeutic effect of the thermal waters, it is recommended to immerse for 10-15 minutes in waters with temperatures between 35°C and 37°C, followed by a rest period of 30 minutes. To avoid discomfort from prolonged exposure to hot water, it is advised not to exceed 20 minutes of immersion.
