Terme della Salvarola, located in Salvarola Terme in the municipality of Sassuolo, Modena, is renowned for its thermal waters with therapeutic properties. It offers a wide range of services, including a wellness center, thermal treatments, physiotherapy, and a 4-star hotel.

After a closure period between the two world wars, in 1958 Cavalier Vincenzo Gibertini re-founded the Terme, inaugurating a new era of prosperity. After his death in 1968, his sons Amedeo and Alfredo, along with Gabriella, continued the business.

In 1987, the private clinic Terme della Salvarola opened, which today offers over thirty medical specialties and a modern physiotherapy and rehabilitation center. In 1998, the Psychophysical Reactivation and Thermal Wellness center Balnea was inaugurated.

The thermal waters of Terme della Salvarola are classified into four types: salsobromoiodic, sulfate-salsobicarbonate-alkaline-terrous, sulfate-bicarbonate-magnesiac, and sulfate-bicarbonate-alkaline-terrous. Each of these waters has specific therapeutic properties.

The salsobromoiodic water is used for baths, inhalations, muds, and hydro-massages, and is indicated for rheumatic problems, osteoporosis, respiratory disorders, and inflammation of female genital mucous membranes.

The sulfate-salsobicarbonate-alkaline-terrous water is beneficial for the osteoarticular system and for reactivating arterial-venous circulation. The sulfate-bicarbonate-magnesiac and sulfate-bicarbonate-alkaline-terrous waters are used for inhalation treatments, muds, and hydro-massages, with positive effects on various pathologies.

The wellness center Balnea offers a combination of health and aesthetic therapies, including indoor and outdoor thermal pools, equipped gyms, sauna, steam bath, and a sensory beauty center.

The physiotherapy and rehabilitation center of Terme della Salvarola offers a highly effective pain treatment and post-surgical rehabilitation pathway, integrating functional re-education with hydrokinetic therapy in a thermal water pool at 35°C.
